Student Life Resources & Services
for Graduate Students
Chirico Career Center
The Chirico Career Center provides services for graduate students, including career coaching appointments and drop in hours, access to FriarHub and opportunities to attend our Career EXPOs and other career events. More information is available on the Chirico Career Center’s Graduate Student Website.
Graduate Student Meal Plans
Graduate students interested in a meal plan must contact the Bursar’s Office to purchase. They should then email Residence Life (reslife@providence.edu) with proof of receipt to request the meal plan be added to their ID card.
Housing and Residence Life
Providence College does not have dedicated graduate student housing. Some exceptions may apply and will only be considered if housing is available. Please contact the Office of Residence Life & Housing for more information (reslife@providence.edu).
Personal Counseling Center
The Counseling Center offers a consultation/assessment session for non-athlete graduate students, with a referral into the community for ongoing care needs. All graduate students also have access to the Counseling Center’s After-Hours Mental Health Support phone service. Graduate Student-Athletes should reference the services found on our Clinical Sports Psychology Services website page.
Recreational Sports and the Concannon Fitness Center
Graduate Assistants qualify for free gym memberships. Full-time graduate students can purchase memberships at a cost of $50.00/semester. With a membership, graduate students are eligible to participate in intramurals. Some club sports also allow graduate students to participate – please reach out directly to the Club Sports program for more information.
Student Health Center
The Health Center treats full-time undergraduate students only. For the convenience of our graduate students, we have compiled a list of local Urgent Care Facilities, Hospitals and Pharmacies on our website. For information on required immunizations for graduate students, please visit our Graduate Student Health Records & Immunization Requirements website page.
Student Programming and Events
Student Engagement and Leadership programs are generally open to all community members. The calendar of events is available on PC Central.
